Vessel Description
This self-propelled jack-up wind turbine installation vessel (WTIV), powered by six Tier III diesel engines, offers outstanding capabilities for offshore wind energy projects. With a variable load capacity of 11,000 tons and a massive 4,800 m² open deck area, it supports the transport and installation of large-capacity turbines, including 4 × 12MW or 3 × 15MW sets.
Equipped with a 2,200-ton leg-encircling crane and DP-2 dynamic positioning, this vessel ensures safe operations even in challenging offshore conditions. Accommodating up to 120 personnel across single and double cabins, the vessel is ideal for extended missions in wind farm construction and servicing.
Heavy-duty turbine installation: Carries and installs 12–15MW offshore wind turbines using a 2,200t main crane and two auxiliary cranes (300t & 50t).
Precision positioning: DP-2 dynamic positioning ensures stability and accuracy during complex lifting and deployment tasks.
High-capacity deck space: 4,800 m² of free cargo deck for turbine components and tools, with max deck load of 15 t/m².
Versatile crew accommodation: Supports up to 120 personnel (24 single + 48 double cabins) with helideck for S61N/S92A helicopter transfer.
Deepwater deployment: Capable of jacking in water depths up to 77 meters using a fixed rack and pinion system.
Environmentally compliant: Meets IMO Tier III and CCS Class requirements, including Ice Class B and Green ECO notation.
