ASCEND QI MARINE & OFFSHORE SERVICES PTE. LTD., based in Singapore, is a marine and offshore ship brokerage company committed to connecting global maritime stakeholders with trusted solutions across both newbuilding and sale & purchase (S&P) markets.
We proudly partner with China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) — one of the world’s largest and most prestigious shipbuilding groups — to support clients in accessing CSSC’s capabilities in the design, construction, equipment supply, and repair of a wide range of marine and offshore assets. Our role ensures seamless communication, strategic alignment, and efficient project execution for shipowners, offshore energy companies, and maritime service providers.

In addition to our newbuilding services, we also offer independent sale & purchase brokerage services, helping clients identify and secure second-hand vessels and offshore units worldwide, including resale tonnage and demolition candidates. With a wide network of shipowners and buyers, we act as a reliable intermediary to facilitate smooth and transparent transactions.

LEADERSHIP
At the helm of ASCEND QI MARINE & OFFSHORE SERVICES is Dr. Chen Qi (Ashley), a distinguished expert in the marine and offshore industry. With a PhD in Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, UK, Dr. Chen has an extensive technical background and a strong track record of industry contributions.
Prior to establishing ASCEND QI MARINE & OFFSHORE SERVICES, she spent over a decade at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), where she contributed in developing industry guidelines, advancing smart shipyard technologies, enhancing data management practices, and optimizing vessel performance. Her expertise spans ship stability, energy efficiency, carbon emissions reduction, and autonomous vessel technologies.
